Friends fans spot a huge blunder during Monica and Chandler's wedding gifts scene

Thanks to its constant re-runs on our television screens, fans of the beloved sitcom Friends have continued picking up on some errors they hadn't noticed before.

In the latest faux pas in the show, which ended in 2004, fans on Twitter have noted something off about the episode titled, The One With The Red Sweater.

It's the episode in which everyone learns that Ross will be the father of Rachel's baby, and later on, also sees Monica unable to resist the urge to open all of her wedding gifts before Chandler gets home.

However, one large gifted box beside her is seen magically wrapped and then unwrapped, and then wrapped again beside during the course of a few seconds.

This mistake comes shortly after one fan took to TikTok to point out a flaw she found in season eight's episode five, The One With Rachel's Date, in which a random woman replaces Monica.

In it, Phoebe and Monica are in the middle of a heart-to-heart on the couch of the iconic Central Perk coffee shop.

They're discussing Monica's sous-chef, Tim, with whom Phoebe has been having a fling.

Monica is thinking about firing Tim, but Phoebe is trying to convince her to give him another chance.

As the camera pans over to Monica for her reaction, the woman sitting on the couch was not, in fact, Courteney Cox, the actress who played the famous character.

Instead, it's some other woman who was filling in for Cox.

Despite its blunders, Friends has always remained one of the most adored shows of our time. The mid-90s sitcom followed the lives of six reckless adults living in Manhattan.

Ross Geller (David Schwimmer), Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston), Monica Geller (Courtney Cox), Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc), Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry), and Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow) were twenty-somethings living in New York City, with their adventures documented throughout the NBC series.

Meanwhile, recently the song from the sitcom was hailed the nation's favourite TV theme of all time.

I'll Be There For You by the Rembrandts from the classic 1990s US comedy series beat the opening music to The Simpsons into second, with Doctor Who in third.

Each member of the full cast was paid an estimated $1 million per episode.

'Friends' is no longer on the U.S. version of Netflix — the show was taken off the platform in January 2020.

But American fanatics can still watch the sitcom with an HBO Max subscription.
