Tributes have been paid to a boy who died in a motorbike crash in Stockport.
Dean Barnes has been named by loved ones as the victim of the fatal smash on Gorton Road in Reddish yesterday morning (January 24). The 16-year-old tragically died of his injuries after he was involved in a crash between a car and a motorbike.
His family are being supported by specially-trained officers at Greater Manchester Police. A man - aged in his 20s - was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Dean, who was from the Brinnington area, has been described by his family and friends as a 'ball of energy' who was 'so loved by his family, friends and the big community'. Paying tribute to him, a loved one told the Manchester Evening News: "He was such a dare devil but sweet boy, and he will be truly missed on the estate.
"There’s not a day that will go by where no one won’t think about him because he was so loved by his family, friends and the big community. Another young life taken far to soon, we’ll see you on the other side of the stars Deano."
Another friend wrote on Facebook: "Rest in paradise Deano." Another said: "Rip deano, don’t feel real one my longest mate and realist rest easy brother love you forever g will be missed by many."
Dean's loved ones have set up a fundraiser to help pay for his funeral. On the Go Fund Me page, the organiser wrote: "As you all know sadly Deano passed away early hours this morning and I'd like everyone to chip in and show the love and how much he meant to everyone!
"He was just a ball of energy and has the most contagious heart of gold anyone could ever ask for! Forever only one DB your truly gonna be missed boy."
You can donate to the fundraiser here. Dozens of floral tributes have also been left at the scene of the crash, including flowers, balloons, candles and a registration plate reading 'SAVAGE DB'.
Police are continuing to urge any witnesses of the crash to get in touch.
