Marvel’s Agents Of SHIELD
8pm, Channel 4
Second season finale of the fitfully entertaining series that doodles in the margins of Marvel’s screen universe. The battle between the remnants of Shield and the Inhumans climaxes in the corridors of an aircraft carrier. Recurring guest star Kyle MacLachlan seems to be the only actor in the cast who understands this is supposed to be a comic-book show, delivering yet another masterclass in eye-bulging, vein-popping, scenery-chomping villainy as Skye’s bad dad Cal. Graeme Virtue
Conspiracy: The Death Of Hitler
8pm, Channel 5
Flimsy, and frankly Ukip-minded, affair that asks: “Did Hitler get away with it?” And: “Could today’s EU really be some kind of Fourth Reich?” On the Truthers side, we’ve the likes of rogue historian Douglas Dietrich and former war correspondent Gerrard Williams (“What we have been told is a straightforward lie”), who believes a plan overseen by Martin Boorman saw Hitler escaping, while body doubles were shot. As the voiceover intones: “Some will believe the conspiracy. And others won’t.” OK, thanks for that. Ali Catterall
TFI Friday
9pm, Channel 4
Pre-watershed swearing, fat lookalikes, ugly blokes and Ocean Colour Scene: the 90s were a blast all right. TFI Friday may be one of those shows whose charms seem elusive with the benefit of hindsight. But, as is the way with revival culture, Channel 4 is reluctant to die wondering. Accordingly, Chris Evans and Will MacDonald will be trying to roll back the years in this 90-minute special, which may well bemuse anyone born after 1995. We await The Girlie Show revival with considerable excitement. Phil Harrison
Kate Humble: Living With Nomads
9pm, BBC2
Kate Humble misses her initial rendezvous with the Nenet people but quickly gets a flavour of their lifestyle. At a trading post, she meets those whose livelihoods have been ruined by climate change and now earn a living slaughtering reindeer. Still, the Nenets have a doughty resilience, with a way of life that is vulnerable to the elements and encroaching gas exploitation. They live in tents, taking what they want from the new but ignoring the rest. John Robinson
Big Brother – Live Eviction
9pm, Channel 5
Time for the housemates to gravitate to the sofas and attempt to refrain from swearing on live TV as Emma Willis reveals who the public have voted out of the house this week. This year’s Big Brother hasn’t been afraid to shake things up in a bid to boost ratings, with multiple evictions, surprise new housemates and controversial twists. And yes – Simon Showbiz is back. There’s also a look at the last 24 hours in the house, which should be enough to have you yearning for a more innocent BB era. Hannah Verdier
The Legacy
9pm, Sky Arts
This Danish series – from the people who brought us The Killing and written by Maya Ilsøe – has been justly acclaimed for bringing a Shakespearian heft to what we increasingly infrequently refer to as the small screen. The fallout out from the division of artist Veronika Grønnegaard’s estate among her siblings continues, and Signe grows increasingly frustrated as she struggles to get her hemp farm up and running. Meanwhile, a naming ceremony for Thomas and Isa’s daughter Melody is imminent. David Stubbs
Crocodile Shoes
11pm, Drama
Yes, that Crocodile Shoes, the two-season drama from the mid-1990s scripted by and starring Jimmy Nail, the thinking man’s Dennis Waterman. Not necessarily stretching his range, Nail plays Jed Shepperd, a Geordie factory worker who, with redundancy looming and what with having written some half-decent, country-tinged songs, decides to take a tilt at musical stardom. With a strong cast, including Alex Kingston, and the odd tune from Paddy McAloon, it’s better than you remember – or at the least a not-too-guilty pleasure. Jonathan Wright
