'Little warrior' coughs up part of tumour during traumatic cancer treatment

A young girl who had to undergo a year of gruelling treatment for a rare form of cancer coughed up part of her tumour as her family described it as "like something out of a horror movie".

Four-year-old Isabellah Owen has been hailed as a "little warrior" by her parents after she was diagnosed with a cancerous tumour when she started snoring and developed bad breath last year.

Amy and Rob Owen initially thought their daughter had a cold or hay fever but their world was soon turned upside down when doctors discovered a rare tumour in her nasal pharynx, which runs behind the nose to the throat.

Scots mum saves toddler from drowning in pond at Glasgow park

A Scots mum has been hailed a hero after she saved a toddler from drowning in a pond in Glasgow. Victoria Crane was celebrating her 27th birthday at Victoria Park with her own two children and a friend, when an elderly man spotted a two-year-old girl lying face down in the pond on Tuesday.

The mum-of-two, who knows first aid, raced over to the water and put the youngster in the recovery position. As Victoria began to rub the child's back she quickly started to bring up some fluid, but was still unresponsive. As the tot's family were located, Victoria performed CPR on the child before ambulance crews arrived and stepped in.

Rebekah Vardy loses Coleen Rooney libel battle in 'Wagatha Christie' case

Rebekah Vardy has lost the 'Wagatha Christie' High Court libel battle she brought against Coleen Rooney over a viral social media post, after a High Court judge found it was "substantially true".

Fans have been on the edge of their seats to find out the conclusion of the almost three-year saga involving two of the most high profile WAGS from the UK. It comes after Wayne Rooney's wife accused her fellow WAG Vardy of leaking stories to the press in a now infamous Instagram post.

The hand down took place remotely, meaning nothing happened in court. In a much-anticipated ruling on Friday, Mrs Justice Steyn found in Mrs Rooney's favour and dismissed the claim against her.

If you have these surnames you could be entitled to a fortune in unclaimed estates in Scotland

There are almost 100 estates across Scotland that have gone unclaimed and could see some Scots earn a fortune in inheritance. Some of those passing have left behind six-figure sums.

When somebody dies with no written will or known family, their estate is passed to the Crown where it is held, waiting to be claimed. These estates are kept for 30 years, and if no one comes forward to claim it then the money could disappear into the Treasury's accounts.

Bradley Walsh gives more than half of multi-million pound fortune over to son Barney

Bradley Walsh has made son Barney a director at two of his companies (PA)

Bradley Walsh has given his son Barney access to more than half of his fortune. The TV star and his 25-year-old offspring have a famously close bond and have worked together on telly projects in the past.

Now the Chase host has made his son a director at two of his companies, Barnstormer Holdings Ltd and Wingit Productions Ltd The comic, 62, put Barney in joint control of Barnstormer Holdings after he was added to the board at the start of the month.

It is believed that the company has assets worth around £1.86 million. Barney was added a director to Bradley's other business, Wingit Productions, in March 2020.
