Frida Sofía Indirectly Calls Out her Mother Alejandra Guzmán After Grandmother Silvia Pinal's Death

En español

During Silvia Pinal's funeral, many kind words were said about the iconic diva of Mexican show business. Among her descendants, especially her daughters, granddaughters, and great-granddaughters, the words most often heard were "harmony" and "unity."

However, judging by the latest posts from Frida Sofía Guzmán, things might not be as harmonious as they seem.

It's no secret that the relationship between Alejandra Guzmán's daughter and her mother was nonexistent for several years. Still, it was assumed that they had made peace during Pinal's final days.

"Only my mom could make that little miracle happen," said 'La Reina de Corazones.'

The hope was that mother and daughter could mend their differences in the context of grief. However, less than 24 hours after Pinal's funeral, Frida Sofía's Instagram stories began to tell a different story.

Even the way she responded to condolences on social media hinted at problems. It became clear that, contrary to what was believed, she hadn't gone to Mexico but had said goodbye to her grandmother via video.

Frida Sofía's Posts

The influencer and entrepreneur reposted a video from the account @manifestbloom that said:

"It's over. I'm at a place in my life where I promise I don't have to deal with things I don't need. I'm leaving. I'm 'unfriending.' I'm blocking. I'm stepping away from places, people, and situations that make me feel disrespected or unvalued. My peace of mind is my priority."

She then posted several condolence messages before writing:

"I'm proud of myself for not being fake. I'm difficult sometimes and have a few screws loose, but I'm 100% me."

On Saturday, in posts that disappeared after 24 hours, she shared messages about the harm caused by narcissism, particularly from those "who should have protected you." She reaffirmed her decision to prioritize her mental health.

Frida Sofía's Love for Her Grandmother

To avoid any confusion about her frustration or resentment, Frida posted two heartfelt videos. One showed her grandmother's joy for life.

The other was much more personal.

In a message full of love and sorrow, Frida shared her fondest memories with her grandmother, including a video where the Grand Diva of Mexico speaks about her. In the text, she reveals a lot, but also leaves unsaid things that are powerfully expressed. Moreover, the post raises a major question: Is true reconciliation possible between mother and daughter, with Alejandra? The conclusion is yours to draw.

"I was always 'distant,' but never far from those who gave me unconditional love and blood of my blood🩸—two of whom are now my angels: my sister Natasha 👑and my Grandmother Pinal👑

Thank you for loving me as I am, for being the peace in chaos, for our movie and telenovela nights on 📼 being obsessed with watching un-released episodes of RAMONA on that giant square TV, eating oatmeal🥣 after a long day running around the studios where my grandma filmed ´Casos de la vida real.´ I'd try on all her makeup and costumes💄👠 or when I got caught in her dressing room during the play Gypsy, singing my "dinerito, dinerito, dinerito," the money I earned selling tickets (that were free) before the play on Sundays at age 6 or 7 (I was a little hustler). In Miami, we'd do our dance that went 🎵di am da dai ra-ra da-ria di am dan dai ra ra rai ra🎵 at Bal Harbour with our shopping bags🛍️ while people were like 🧐... Acapulco playing Monopoly and in the pool, and CHRISTMASES always at your house. I regret that our last Christmas together was so long ago, but this Christmas we'll be together because I know you'll never leave me alone. Now that you're free, eternally yourself in soul and spirit, you'll be my greatest guide.🕊️❤️‍🩹♾️ I love you, and thank you, thank you, thank you."
