Arsenal star Frida Maanum has claimed the club's Player of the Month award for October, voted for by supporters.
The 23-year-old Norway international joined the Gunners in July last year and recorded her first start of the 2022/23 campaign in their 5-1 win over Lyon in the UEFA Women's Champions League. She scored the second goal after the game shortly after Caitlin Foord opened the scoring.
Also in October, Maanum scored in the Women's Super League meetings against Liverpool and West Ham. Before the international break, she opened the scoring in the comfortable 4-0 win over Leicester City.

Jonas Eidevall's side currently sit top of the table, level on points with last season's champions Chelsea. Arsenal, however, do have a better goal difference and a game in hand over Emma Hayes' side.
Maanum has been a key player for the side since forcing her way into the starting line-up last month. The midfielder won the poll with 45% of the votes, followed by Jordan Nobbs and Lotte Wubben-Moy.
The Norway star is currently away on international duty with her national team and she started their narrow 2-1 defeat to France in a friendly last week. Next up, they face Euro winners England on Tuesday night at the Pinatar Arena Football Center in Spain.
Arsenal then return to league action this Saturday with a difficult test against Manchester United. They then host Everton in early December as they look to further cement their place at the top of the table.
