Belgium giants Anderlecht have reportedly dropped a case against Nottingham Forest over a failed move for Reds left-back Harry Toffolo.
The 27-year-old looked set to join the Belgian Pro League side before the January transfer window closed but the move collapsed with Anderlecht left frustrated.
At the time of the failed move Anderlecht manager Brian Riemer said: "At 11pm, there was still an agreement, but due to, in my opinion, extremely unprofessional behaviour from Nottingham, Harry Toffolo was recalled. I was surprised it didn’t go through. In football, sometimes a deal is apparently not enough."

But Forest will not face any potential action over the failed transfer according to reports in Belgium which have been translated by Sport Witness. They explain that despite Anderlecht’s move to take the case to FIFA, where they were either asking to still get the player or receive some compensation for the failed move, that will no longer be happening.
That’s because FIFA told Anderlecht 'that they are not in power to comment on this matter’, meaning that if they had any gripe with Forest they would have to take it up with CAS (court of arbitration for sport).
With all this information, Anderlecht ‘decided to end the prosecution’, and are moving on from the Forest defender.
