Celtic have reached a verbal agreement which will see the return of Scotland international Kieran Tierney, with the deal poised to be finalised as a free transfer.
Following confirmation from renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Tierney is expected to rejoin his boyhood club after spending five years in the English Premier League with Arsenal.
While the agreement has been made, Tierney’s move is contingent on Arsenal’s decision.
Should the title-chasing Gunners refuse to allow him to leave this January, the defender will return to Celtic in the summer transfer window when his contract expires.
Tierney has made five first team appearances for Arsenal since returning from a season-long loan at Real Sociedad.
The announcement follows the recent news of Jota’s own return to Celtic, sparking excitement among fans as the club looks to strengthen its squad and continue their domestic dominance.
