Nottingham Forest may have made a breakthrough in their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Keylor Navas, according to a report from Spain.
It looked like the move for Navas was off earlier on deadline day, with complications at PSG's end making them reluctant to sell the player - which they would need to do, rather than loan him.
That dampened Forest spirits somewhat, with attentions turned to another goalkeeper following Dean Henderson's short-term injury at the City Ground. But a Spanish journalist is reporting that a move to the Reds for Keylor Navas could be back on after all.

Spanish journalist Matteo Moretto, reporting for sports outlet Relevo, said on Twitter: "Keylor Navas is very close to Nottingham. Small details remain."
It would be a welcome addition on what is set to be a busy deadline day for Forest. Newcastle midfielder Jonjo Shelvey and Atletico Madrid defender Felipe have both had medicals with the club today, and their arrivals are expected to be announced before tonight's 11pm deadline.
There could be some outgoings too, with Harry Toffolo seemingly on the verge of joining Anderlecht in Belgium. Steve Cook is attracting interest from the Championship, while Lyle Taylor and Cafu could also depart today.
