A Paisley woman whose beloved dog went missing on a hill walk ten months ago has been given renewed hope following a potential siting on a remote part of the West Highland Way.
Gizmo, a Staffordshire bull terrier cross, disappeared in fog as he and Natalie Crawford, 31, climbed Beinn Ime in the Arrochar alps, in the southern Scottish Highlands, in June last year.
In her search for her beloved dog, Natalie has used more than a dozen drones, set up trail cameras and reclimbed the mountain at least 15 times to find him.
She said she will keep doing so until she either finds his body or locates him in the marshlands below.

However, Natalie has been given a glimmer of hope after a member of the public spotted a dog that looked similar to Gizmo in a remote area between Bridge of Orchy and Rannoch.
The dog has been described as "white with dark coloured markings, possibly like a beagle" which Natalie claims Gizmo was regularly thought to be due to his colouring.
The message also states that he area the dog was spotted was in the "middle of nowhere" as it was roughly 1ten miles from Bridge of Orchy and five miles from Rannoch.
Posting on the GIZMO Missing, Beinn Ime page - which has almost 5,500 followers - Natalie posted: "Although been told this area is very very remote and no footpaths where the dog was spotted, can people in the area/passing through please be vigilant and on the lookout for the below described dog, especially anyone walking the West Highland Way.
"Many people have asked me before if Gizmo is a Beagle when they've met him!!
"The dog was on the track and ran off when the train was approaching. Been told many deer are hit with the trains passing through so plenty food sources."
The post generated support from hundreds of people from all over the country, and was shared more than 400 times by well-wishers keen to see Natalie and Gizmo reunited.
A £5,000 reward has been offered to help trace four-year-old Gizmo and return him to his owner.
