Halfords have dealt another blow to Ayrshire today with the news that one of the firm's autocentres has permanently closed down.
Yesterday we told you that the motor and bike specialists will close their Irvine store at some point this year.
Roles are at risk at the East Road retail park store after chiefs terminated their lease after receiving notice from their landlord.
Now their Largs autocentre on Bellman's Close has been shut down.
Halfords say they've been able to offer all workers roles at alternative locations.
A spokesperson for Halfords said: “We can confirm our Halfords Autocentre McConechys Largs has permanently closed.
"We are working hard to support all of those affected and have been able to offer all colleagues roles at alternative locations.
"We’d like to thank all our customers for their support of the Largs Autocentre and look forward to welcoming them at our National Tyres and Halfords Autocentre in Greenock as well as McConechys Saltcoats and located within a 30 minutes drive."
