French Swimming Prodigy Léon Marchand Wins Four Gold Medals

The closing ceremony of the event is currently taking place, featuring Zaho de Sagazan performing the classic French song “Sous le Ciel de Paris,” which translates to “Under the Paris Sky.” Originally written for the 1951 film of the same name, the song gained popularity after being recorded by the iconic Edith Piaf.

De Sagazan gained international recognition earlier this year when he performed David Bowie’s “Modern Love” at the Cannes festival. His captivating performances have garnered him a growing fan base.

French swimming sensation Léon Marchand, dressed elegantly in a black suit, is now making his way towards the Olympic Cauldron. Marchand has been a standout athlete at these Games, securing an impressive four gold medals in swimming events, making him a hometown hero.
