French Rail Disruption Hits Brittany And Northern France

Apple France workers strike on day of iPhone 15 launch in France

French state rail company SNCF has reported that the regions most affected by the current rail disruption in France are Brittany in western France and the north of the country. The CEO of SNCF, Christophe Fanichet, has announced that there will be no train services from Gare Montparnasse in central Paris until at least 1 p.m. local time.

The disruption has primarily impacted three lines of the TGV network: the Atlantic, Northern, and Eastern lines. The Atlantic line connects Paris to the west and southwest regions of France, while the Northern line serves the route between Paris and Lille. The Eastern line facilitates travel from Paris to Strasbourg.

This disruption is likely to cause inconvenience to travelers relying on these TGV services, with delays and cancellations expected until the issue is resolved. SNCF is working to address the situation and restore normal operations as soon as possible.

Passengers planning to travel through these affected regions are advised to check for updates from SNCF regarding the status of their train services. Alternative transportation options may need to be considered during this period of disruption.
