Comedy legends Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders will reunite for a good cause next month.
The iconic double act will be making a cameo in a very special episode of The Repair Shop, all in aid of Comic Relief.
Dawn, 64, and Jennifer, 63, will reprise their characters 'The Extras' for the BBC charity special.
The pair, best known together as French & Saunders, will portray two fame-hungry women trying to get a free fix in the shop.
Host Jay Blades - who has to try to deal with Dawn and Jennifer's character in the spoof sketch - promised it will be a 'treat' for fans of everyone involved.
The award-winning comedians - who first started working together in the 1980s - also spoke of their excitement ahead of the clip airing.
"I don’t think we’ve ever said no to Comic Relief because it just is too important, and because it’s from our community and we were there right at the very beginning," Dawn explained.
Comic Relief was co-founded by Dawn's ex-husband Lenny Henry in 1985.
Speaking ahead of her latest contribution to the charity, the mum-of-one added: "I know that the money is spent correctly, and I know that there are projects that are ongoing that need us to be ongoing and I wouldn’t ever want to let anyone down, so I think the more that we can do to boost and support, the better!"
Comedy pal Jennifer was equally as excited to team up with her old friend once again.
The much-loved comedy duo met while undergraduate students at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 1978 - eventually going on to star in the award-winning BBC sketch show French and Saunders.
"As I watched The Repair Shop, I thought all I could ever see was these characters going into The Repair Shop, or me and Dawn, pretending to mend something or imitating the characters," Jennifer explained when chatting about their upcoming Comic Relief cameo.
"You know, I just thought, this is the show for us."
"Then Comic Relief said we’ve got The Repair Shop and it was like the perfect thing, it was so perfect!"
The Repair Shop host Jay promised viewers the two comedians have something special in store for them.
"I can’t believe the chaos that those two caused," he teased.
"We’re always surprised by what we see in the barn, but trust me, we’ve not seen anything like this before – you must watch it to see how funny it was."
