The Met Office has issued a two-day yellow weather warning as fog is forecast in Leeds.
The weather warning, which came into place on Tuesday evening has warned of areas of dense fog which will cause difficult travelling conditions throughout the night into Wednesday morning. Forecasters have warned that motorists should expect slower journey times.
Forecasters are predicting a clear start to the day across the area. Maximum temperatures will be around 11°C with cloudy skies predicted throughout the mid-afternoon.

The Met Office forecast for Leeds and Yorkshire on Wednesday says: "Fog patches soon clearing to give plenty of sunshine. Becoming cloudy and breezy with outbreaks of light rain in western areas. Further rain arriving from the west overnight. Maximum temperature 11 °C."
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:
Across the rest of the week there will be light outbreaks of rain in parts, with strong winds arriving on Friday morning.
The forecast says: "Cloudy Thursday with outbreaks of light rain. Further rain and strong winds arriving Friday morning, before clearing later. Rather cloudy Saturday with rain at times. Temperatures around or above average."
