Free agent RB Kenyan Drake tweets emoji amidst expected signing with Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens had plenty of injuries throughout the 2021 season. One of the positions that got hit the hardest was at running back, where J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards and Justice Hill didn’t play a snap all year due to the injuries they suffered right before the season began.

There were big expectations for both Dobbins as well as Edwards, and now both are working their way back to full strength. However, that doesn’t mean the team isn’t exploring options at the position to carry the load until they get back.

On Tuesday, it was widely reported that Baltimore is expected to sign running back Kenyan Drake pending the results of a physical. After the news was made known, Drake took to Twitter and posted a single emoji, potentially signaling his excitement for his next career move.

Assuming he’s officially brought in, Drake should provide a solid option in the backfield alongside the rest of the team’s depth. He’s sound both as a runner and as a pass catcher, also holding up in pass protection against blitzing defenders.
