Freddy Krueger-style knife glove among weapons seized in police raid

This terrifying set of 'Wolverine claws' were found by police in a home alongside swords and machetes. The Freddy Krueger-style glove with blades attached was seized by police.

Officers do not believe the knuckle band with three blades and other knives were held with intent to cause harm, but have highlighted the dangers of possessing such items. They shared pictures of the scale and severity of the weapons seized on Facebook following the discovery by a neighbourhood team and an officer from a Firearms Licencing Unit.

Police have now urged anyone who has information on or is in possession of such items to contact them immediately.

West Devon Police said: "The Tavistock Police neighbourhood team and an officer from our Firearms Licencing Unit searched an address in the area today and seized a large selection of knives and weapons. It's important to note that we do not believe these items were held with any immediate intent to cause harm but a top job from the team removing them from the public domain."

Police added that it is an offence to buy, possess or lend various knives and weapons and urged people to contact them online if they have any information relating to, or are inadvertently in possession of, such items.
