You know those days when you’re really feeling yourself on the way to work? Maybe you did your hair differently or are rockin’ a new pair of jeans. Whatever it is, if you had that extra pep in your step this week and noticed a few smiles coming your way, I hate to burst your bubble… It wasn’t you.

I know, I know, it’s hard to believe. Normally, everyone falls in love with you on the train! But those grins were part of one creepy-as-hell smile-mob seeping its way through the Sydney CBD. The whole ordeal was, thankfully, planned and not just a bunch of folks wreaking havoc willy-nilly. It was all a ploy to get us excited (and terrified) about the release of in cinemas. The thriller centres around psychiatrist Dr Rose Cotter () who has a sudden traumatic experience with a patient. Then, a bunch of creepy coincidences keep following her. To give us a taste of what Dr Cotter’s going through in the movie, the smile-mob came down to our office. And let me tell you, we are all scarred and wished we’d worked in PJs at home today. There is nothing more unnerving than a dead-silent flash mob… So, if you’re disappointed you missed all the chilling fun going down in the CBD, don’t you worry. I’m willing to share this icky, eerie feeling with you all… If you’ve somehow avoided seeing the trailer up until now…how??? It’s basically a bunch of jump-scares all strung together with a nightmare-inducing final scene. Brace yourself… And…exhale. SMILE
