Spurs keeper Fraser Forster 'cinched it' against Portsmouth in the FA Cup, according to the SPFL's name sponsors themselves.
The former Celtic keeper has been proving his worth to the North London side in recent weeks and made his Premier League debut for them against Brentford having served as Hugo Lloris' No.2 for the first half of the season. He was named in the side to face Portsmouth in what was only his third appearance since joining from Southampton and he was busier than he would have liked to have been against League One opposition.
It was a narrow 1-0 win for the Premier League team thanks to Harry Kane's strike and Forster had to be on his game, most notably denying Reeco Hackett a spectacular equaliser from an acrobatic effort. And Spurs, who are sponsored by cinch - the same car dealer as the SPFL - applauded the stop and his clean sheet with a Twitter post saying he "absolutely cinched it."
