Frantic search launched for woman, 25, who vanished in Edinburgh city centre on Saturday night

Police have launched an urgent search for a missing Scots woman who disappeared in Edinburgh city centreover the weekend.

Chantelle Stewart was last seen on the capital's Princes Street at roughly 11pm on Saturday, January 28.

The 25-year-old is from the Falkirk area and authorities are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

Chantelle is described as white, 5ft2ins tall, of slim build and has long brown hair.

She was dressed in a black mini jacket, black dress and black coloured high heels.

Anyone who may have seen Chantelle or who has information on her whereabouts should contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 3129 of January 29.
