'Well-known' West Lothian woman who disappeared overnight traced 'safe and well'

A missing Scots woman who vanished overnight in West Lothian has been found.

Shona Macpherson, described by police as a well-known local in Broxburn, was last seen leaving an address on Dunn Street at 2.40am on Sunday, January 8. The 37-year-old had not been seen or heard from since.

Officers investigating Shona's disappearance said they were concerned for her wellbeing.

Now, however, cops have confirmed that Shona has been found 'safe and well'.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We are pleased to confirm that Shona MacPherson (37) who was reported missing in Broxburn has been traced safe and well. Thank you to everyone who shared our earlier appeal."
