Frantic search for missing Scots teen who hasn't been seen since for two days

A frantic search has been launched for a missing Scots schoolgirl who hasn't been seen since Friday.

Alana Callaghan, 13, has vanished from her home in North Lanarkshire. She was last seen in the Beechwood Gardens area of Moodiesburn at around 2pm on Friday, February 10.

Police are now appealing for information. Alana is described as being around 4ft 10in in height, of slim build with blonde hair.

When last seen she was wearing black Converse shoes, green combat trousers and a black jacket.

Anyone who has seen Alana or who has any information on her whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101.
