A teenager who went missing from East Lothian has been found after police appealed for the public's help.
Holly Monteith, 14, vanished from Prestonpans on Tuesday, January 3 and was later spotted in the Meadowbank area in the early hours of Wednesday morning and then in the city centre. Concerns were growing for her welfare.
On Thursday morning, East Lothian Police said: "We are pleased to confirm that Holly Monteith who was reported missing from Prestonpans has been traced safe and well. Thank you to everyone who shared our earlier appeal."

Holly is described as 5ft 1in, with long dark brown hair. She was last seen wearing a tan jacket with fur, tan leggings and black and white converse shoes.
