The legendary band are coming back home to Liverpool for their first public performance in 36 years at the National Lottery's Big Eurovision Welcome party. Frankie Goes To Hollywood formed in Liverpool as part of the city’s thriving Post Punk scene and by May 1984, the band had released two best-selling singles "Relax" and "Two Tribes".

The first acts to perform have also been announced, including Eurovision royalty Conchita Wurst and Jamala. The pair will take to the stage in front of a 30,000-strong crowd alongside Liverpool’s iconic Lightning Seeds, Atomic Kitten and The Real Thing.
