Frankie Essex, former The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE) star, has revealed the names of her twin babies.

Frankie, 34, and her boyfriend, personal trainer Luke Luv, 32, welcomed their twin babies in May–and named them Luella and Logan.

The new mum told OK! Magazine that she had picked out the name Luella when she was 20, revealing that she “never told anyone the name in case they stole it.”

Her partner Luke chose Logan’s name, after his favourite X-Men character, Wolverine, whose alter-ego is James "Logan" Howlett.

Fortuitously, Frankie said that both names mean “warrior,” which the couple only found out after naming their children.

Luella is said to mean “famous elf” or “famous warrior” or “famous female warrior.”

Logan is said to be an anglicised version of Laochan, which is derived from the Gaelic laoch, which means warrior. Other sources say Logan means “small hollow” in Scottish.

According to Name Berry, Luella was the 964th most popular name in England in 2020, while Logan was much more popular, as the 37th most common name in the same year.

Frankie told OK! Magazine that the babies are already developing different personalities, saying: “Logan is a dream, he’s so good and so chill,” while “Luella is sassy, but she pulls the cutest faces.

“They look so different. Logan looks like Luke and Luella looks like me, but she’s petite and Logan is long. You can tell one is a girl and one is a boy.”

Frankie’s brother, TOWIE star Joey Essex, was tasked with revealing the twins’ genders. In his announcement, he said: "Everyone come outside and celebrates with us, we are so excited.

“A proud brother about to become an uncle, congratulations to my sister and Luke. Boy and girl."
