Frankie Bridge couldn’t look more relaxed when we catch up with her.
After a mad few weeks of work, she got to jet away to sunny Bermuda over the half-term break with her husband Wayne, 41, and their two sons, Carter, six, and Parker, eight.
“Usually my work ramps up, which gives me the usual mum guilt, but actually this half-term we went to Bermuda to see my sister Victoria and my twin nephews, who live there,” the 33-year-old tells Notebook in an exclusive interview.
“I want them back here. I’ve missed them so much.”
The former Saturdays singer has been keeping busy and in January, she launched Results With Frankie: Health & Happiness – a mix of exercises, nutritional advice and life coaching – via a website that helped her through lockdown.
And it doesn’t stop there. Over the past year, the Loose Women panellist’s fashion brand FW Bridge has also gone from strength to strength. Plus she now has collaborations with Next and Tesco.
But despite her seemingly picture-perfect existence and enviable life, she’s quick to bring us back to reality when we suggest life must be a bed of roses. In fact, we love her all the more for her searing honesty.
"Honestly, I’ve barely come up for air," she tells us about how busy she's been.
"As soon as we conquer one thing with the fashion brand it’s onto the next. Then by the time it comes out I’m like, 'Is it still cool?' because I’ve been looking at it for so long. That’s quite nerve-wracking."
And with all her work, Frankie admits it's hard for her and Wayne to find time for each other.
"We’re really lucky because his mum and dad live with us, but it’s usually when the kids are at school," she said.
"So on Tuesday we had a nice walk with the dog. We went to the pub and had a little Diet Coke together, chilled out and then wandered back to pick the kids up and it was so nice."
So fancy date nights are still off the cards despite the extra help at home.
"It’s actually really nice not to wear make-up and get dressed up all the time because I do that so much with work," she said.
But they still manage to keep the spark alive.
"No relationship is ever perfect but we’ve been together a really long time and we are still very attracted to one another," she said.
"He’s seen me through pregnancy and everything. We really support each other in everything we do, too."
And Frankie admits that she still lets the boys climb into bed with them after she said on Loose Women recently that they were all sleeping together on a mattress on the floor while you sorted out a new bed.
"The boys are back in their beds now, but we’ve got into this habit of them coming in with us so we do all end up together in the night and to be honest, I love it!"
Frankie also told us that there are still no plans for a Saturdays reunion - despite them still being friendly.
"I’m lucky in that we get on really well compared to other girl bands," she said.
"We stay in touch, but no, that’s not happening. Honestly, it’s been a whirlwind with the fashion brand and my dream. I’d love to look at going into accessories next. Wayne and I are doing a kids range for Tesco too. It’s so lovely to be doing things we love together. It really has been a dream and it’s surpassed all my expectations."
