Frank Ocean has been accused of having a "wild flip" backstage, before scrapping a major part of his chaotic Coachella performance.
The singer's festival show over the weekend was supposed to include a performance on an ice rink which had been "constructed" and was "ready to go".
However, Frank was forced to make major changes to his set after suffering a nasty injury and scrapped the planned spectacle.
Two former ice hockey players have claimed Frank decided to ditch the elaborate performance just hours before they were due on stage.
Brothers Dan and Chris Powers were booked to perform with more than 100 other skaters, but issues quickly started to arise.
They claim issues started immediately on the day of the performance as buses scheduled to take the skaters to the festival were delayed.
They say only about 30 out of 120 ice skaters took to the stage, however, they were forced to perform on foot after the ice rink was deconstructed at the last minute.
"Those figure skaters got cut not because there was an ice issue, not because there was something wrong," Dan said on their Empty Netters podcast.
He added: "There was no malfunction. He just straight-up was like, 'F*** this. I'm not doing this anymore.'
"And these 120 people had bused out here, he was just like, 'You guys aren't doing s**t now.' So it was just like a wild flip."
Chris added: "He really cares about the production, he had a very clear vision and even though that vision changes a lot he was always on us, helping us, making sure everyone hit what he was picturing in his mind."
"During all the rehearsals, he was so funny, he was so interesting... He was so cool, he was cool to everyone, teaching them how to sing his songs," Dan added.
A representative for Frank earlier told The Mirror: "After suffering an injury to his leg on festival grounds in the week leading up to weekend 1, Frank Ocean was unable to perform the intended show but was still intent on performing, and in 72 hours, the show was reworked out of necessity.
"On doctor's advice, Frank Ocean is not able to perform weekend 2 due to two fractures and a sprain in his left leg."
Frank added: "It was chaotic. There is some beauty in chaos. It isn't what I intended to show but I did enjoy being out there and I'll see you soon."
