Owner Gary McCalmont told Belfast Live: "We are a thriving neighbourhood pub, catering for families, friends, and neighbours from East Belfast.
"We often have high profile visitors from sporting and media backgrounds as well as local artists in with us.
"Frank Lampard’s visit was unannounced, and he was an absolute gentleman, enjoying our creamy Guinness, the craic and taking time to chat with our team and guests. We want our pub to be a sanctuary for visitors to relax regardless of their public profile.
"Frank was treated like all our guests with a warm welcome and 5* service. We hope to see him and his family again soon."
Posting on Facebook on Sunday night, the bar said: "Lovely to see our buddy @franklampard enjoying a pre dinner pint with his friends after a dander.
"If you have forgotten, we are on the Kings Road, Belfast...
"Thanks Frank, for taking the time to catch up with our team. You’re always welcome in the East."
