Frank Lampard's mixed Everton injury update ahead of key clash in Leeds United relegation battle

Everton boss Frank Lampard has delivered the latest news on his side's injury woes, as they battle to remain in the Premier League this season. The Toffees sit just one point above Leeds United with two games left to play and could extend their gap over Jesse March's men to an unassailable four points with victory at Goodison Park.

With Jarrad Branthwaite and Salomon Rondon dismissed in the side's 3-2 loss to Brentford last weekend, the Merseysiders could still face the drop if results go against them. With Patrick Vieira's Palace to come before a final day showdown with Arsenal at the Emirates, it's been a difficult start to life for Lampard in the Toffees dugout.

Despite leading the Bees by 2-1 in their previous match, Thomas Frank's side struck twice in two minutes to flip the game on its head.

Leeds will know exactly what their final day scenario is after full time of Everton and Burnley's Thursday night matches and whether or not their fate remains in their own hands.

But with injuries and suspensions too now totting up for the Toffees, the former Chelsea boss spoke to the media earlier today ahead of Thursday's crucial clash.

"Ben (Godfrey) may be in the squad and that more a testament to him as he's striving to get fit. He is in the squad but I will take a decision whether he is involved at all. All the others (Yerry Mina and Fabian Delph) are out.

"Michael Keane has recovered yes and Donny van de Beek will also be in the squad. Dominic Calvert Lewin is fine too."
