Frank Lampard has joked he fears for Ashley Cole as he believes a hostile reception will await him and his coaching staff at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tonight.
Lampard returns to the capital tonight when his Everton side take on Tottenham in the Premier League in a huge game for both teams.
The former England international led Chelsea to victory on his last visit to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium back in December 2019, and will be desperate for three points tonight to ease his side's relegation fears.

And as a former Chelsea player and manager, the Everton boss knows he will get some stick from Spurs supporters in attendance due to the time he spent with the Stamford Bridge club.
However, the former Manchester City midfielder believes Cole, a former Arsenal and Chelsea full-back, is in for an even tougher evening due to his previous ties with Tottenham's London rivals.
He said: “I don’t expect a good reception - but speaking to Ashley Cole he expects a worse reception than me!
“It’s all good fun, I always enjoyed the battles with Tottenham as a Chelsea player and West Ham player before that.
“But it’s not part of my thinking, I’m actually not even considering the games I’ve played with or managed at Chelsea - it’s a completely different position.
“You have to take the sting out of the opposition wherever you go, the focal point has to be us.”
While speaking back in November, during an interview with Gary Neville, Lampard named Tottenham's old White Hart Lane ground as his favourite to play in.
He said: "Tottenham! We used to beat them a lot. No but we did, and Chelsea had a thing from before I came to the club where they called it Three Point Lane instead of White Hart Lane."
