Frank Lampard has sent a message to Leeds United fans who became "obsessed with the time-wasting" during Tuesday night's 1-1 draw at Elland Road.
Everton took the lead through Antony Gordon - who has been linked with a move to Chelsea for several weeks but now looks poised to remain on Merseyside - after he grabbed his second goal in as many matches with a smart finish past Illan Meslier after 20 minutes.
After the goal, the fans at Elland Road were noticeably frustrated with Everton's game management, as the Blues looked to roll down the clock, even more so after Luis Sinisterra equalised for Jesse Marsch's side.

And Marsch would even criticise Everton himself for time wasting, stating that they 'wanted to take the energy out of Elland Road'.
In his post-match press conference, though, Lampard gave his thoughts on the fans and manager's reaction to how they played out the game.
He said: "No, to be honest, I think they became obsessed with the time-wasting. There were a couple of times when we went one-nil up and the ball was in the crowd, and the bench are talking about time. I don’t know whether they want Jordan (Pickford) to sprint into the crowd and get the ball back, I didn’t get it.
"It became an obsession and then the crowd get on it and they try to manage the game and put pressure on the referee, but I get it.
"Goodison Park can [also] be a tough place to come with those things but it became a talking point and maybe a little bit of a side issue because there were a lot of times when they wanted us to go and get the ball, but what do you want us to do?"
