Frank Lampard has been appointed as the new Coventry head coach.
The 46-year-old has agreed a two-year contract to take over a side 17th in the Championship and just two points above the relegation zone.
Lampard has been out of management since his spell as interim Chelsea boss at the end of the 2022-23 season.
He replaces Mark Robins, who was this month sacked after a seven-year spell in charge in which he led Coventry from League Two to a Championship Play-Off Final and FA Cup semi-final.
Lampard will be joined at Coventry by former Chelsea coaches Joe Edwards and Chris Jones.
His first match in charge of Coventry will be against Cardiff on Saturday.
