Huge digital versions of masterpieces by Monet, Dali and Van Gogh are among works going on show in a new immersive art gallery.

Frameless, which opens near Marble Arch next month, will put visitors in the heart of some of the greatest paintings of the last 200 years.

It is home to four different galleries with 40 works on show including Monet’s Waterlily Pond and Edvard Munch’s Scream.

Many of them feature specially composed soundtracks which organisers says will “heighten” the work’s “emotional impact”.

Frameless is the latest show using cutting edge technology to attract a younger Instagram generation to a more immersive take on fine art.

An immersive exhibition about Van Gogh, including 3D animated paintings and a reconstruction of his home, opened in east London last year.

Frameless chief executive Richard Relton said he was looking forward to welcoming visitors to 6 Marble Arch from October 7.

He said: “With 28 artists and 40 masterpieces to experience under one roof, we’re thrilled to bring these great works of art to life like never before.

“This multi-sensory, immersive attraction will hopefully attract a new, younger and diverse audience to enjoy art.

“It really needs to be seen to be believed as there is nothing else like it.”
