Fox News Host Brian Kilmeade urged viewers to “go to work” and “live with” Covid - despite him appearing to co-host “Fox & Friends” alone in studio.
Kilmeade’s comments were shared towards the end of a rant on the Teachers Union and the impact of school shutdowns and remote learning for students amid the pandemic.
“It’s called live with it. Go to work. Live with it. Get on a train. Get on a bus. Get on a plane. How do we live with it? We can no longer hide from it,” Kilmeade said,
Kilmeade and his co-hosts appeared in their own frame in the video, which made it seem that they were not broadcasting together from the well-known “curvy couch” and were adopting social distancing.

“Hypocrisy without shame,” someone wrote.
“It had been a while since someone posted some nonsense from Fox. That streak is hereby broken,” another added.
A third wrote: “These people are just the worst. They also downplay vaccines and requirements, yet their own company requires them to be vaccinated.”
Kilmeade also took to his Twitter to address the matter, citing that he was “in studio.”

Like many businesses and companies, Fox News Media is taking safeguards to help keep employees safe during the latest spike of Covid positive cases and hospitalisations.
Towards the end of December, Fox News got rid of the option for employees to avoid taking the vaccine with negative test results.
Those working in New York City, such as the Fox &Friends team, needed to show proof that they received at least one dose of a vaccine by December 27 to work in the office.
Indy100 reached out to Fox News for comment.
