
A fourth man has been arrested and charged following the alleged murder of a known associate of jailed drug kingpin Tony Mokbel.
A 34-year-old man was apprehended at his Carrum Downs home on Tuesday morning and charged with one count of assist offender - murder in the death of Mitat Rasimi.
The 51-year-old convicted criminal was found dead in his car with gunshot wounds after crashing into a pole at Dandenong, in Melbourne's southeast in March 2019.
The development comes after police in April charged a 44-year-old man from Lysterfield South with murder.
A 27-year-old Hampton Park man and a 29-year-old man from Endeavour Hills were also previously charged with murder.
The Carrum Downs man will appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
