Four-year-old killed in Teesside collision named as family pay tribute to 'adored' boy with a 'beautiful smile'

The family of a four-year-old who tragically lost his life in a collision in Skelton, Teesside, have paid tribute to the "adored" little boy.

Isaac Matthew Crofts was a beloved son, grandson and nephew. A heartbreaking family tribute released by Cleveland Police said that he "had a beautiful smile and was adored by all who knew him".

The force has said his family are devastated by Isaac's death and have asked for privacy as they begin to grieve the unimaginable loss of a child. Police officers are supporting the family at this very sad time, Teesside Live reported.

Hundreds of messages of support have been posted on social media, with one saying: "Bless his little heart and his family must be going through such a sad time just can’t imagine. I hope you're riding rainbows little one. Much love to all family members."

Another said: "Sending much love and many prayers of comfort to his family. From a mother who knows the pain of losing a child, God Bless you all."

A fatal crash happened on Grampian Road in Skelton (Teesside Live)

Both Cleveland Police and the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) attended the incident on Grampian Road, Skelton, on Saturday. A spokesperson for the GNAAS said: "Our critical care team were activated at 2.10pm to reports of a road traffic collision in Skelton.

"After arriving on scene our paramedic and doctor team assessed and treated a patient. The patient was taken to hospital by a North East Ambulance Service road crew."

A spokesperson from Cleveland Police said: "Police would again like to thank the members of the public who assisted at the scene. We understand this tragic incident will have an impact on many people in the Skelton community."
