Four-year-old girl fighting for life after being hit by car in Glasgow

A four-year-old girl is left fighting for her life after being hit by a car in Glasgow.

Emergency services tushed to the scene on Tantallon Road in Shawlands on February 27 at around 9am.

The child was then rushed to the Royal Hospital for Children.

The female driver of the BMW X1 was unharmed.

Sergeant Ally Wright said: "Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this incident and I would urge any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

"I’m also keen to speak to any drivers who were in the area at the time and may have dashcam footage which has captured something of significance."
