Today, Manchester United announced Erik ten Hag will become their next permanent manager. He has signed a contract until June 2025, with the option to extend for a further year.
Ralf Rangnick has got his successor appointed for next season. The Dutch manager will leave his post at Ajax to join the Red Devils' push to end the five years without a trophy.
Now that the Dutchman has officially switched from The Johan Cruyff Arena to Old Trafford, Thomas Tuchel will face a new challenge next season in Chelsea's mission to land their first Premier League title in six years.

So, we Carefree Chelsea at football.london, delved into what we think will definitely happen in west London if United appoint Ten Haag.
Ajax talent will flood to Old Trafford
Chelsea hasn't been renowned for the acquisition of talent from Ajax, but any prospect of Tuchel beating United to players from the Dutch side now looks slim. The Eredivisie title holders are a factory for exciting prospects, and with Ten Hag at the helm, the Dutchman would likely be able to lure produce away from United's rivals.
Ten Hag is on course to win his third league title with Ajax. His stature and omnipotent sovereign will undoubtedly lean in his favour ahead of the summer transfer window.
Ziyech can offer insight
Hakim Ziyech could be Tuchel's inside man when looking to overcome Ten Hag's tactics. The former Morocco international featured 100 times under the Dutchman, directly contributing to 88 goals.
The pair enjoyed an incredibly fruit-bearing relationship in Amsterdam. Ziyech, who was pivotal in Ten Hag leading Ajax to the Champions League semi-final in 2018/19, was key to his former manager's tactical puzzle.
Tuchel joins rebuild race
While Chelsea are leaps and bounds ahead of United, either side faces a massive summer transfer window. Tuchel, who has been starved of significant backing from the board, will be looking for several arrivals that complement his ideology.
Meanwhile, Ten Hag will also be after a handful of introductory signings so that he can begin to implement his style too. Though, either boss shares a similar outlook, so a number of biddings wars could ignite at the end of the season.
New transfer opportunities
Ten Hag will bring new ideas to Old Trafford which means that players could be offloaded from United this summer. Therefore, Chelsea should put themselves at the front of the queue just in case a few gems fall through the net.
Looking at United's squad, the two realistic acquisitions I'd make from their squad is Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba. While it'd be nice to see Chelsea go after Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane, neither are realistic in my books.
