Ohio State football is on track to have a historic 2025 class, but the 2026 class just took a hit with the most recent recruiting news coming out of Alabama. Shadarius Toodle is a four-star linebacker in the class of 2026 from Mobile, Alabama, and had multiple offers to consider including from the Buckeyes and LSU.
This past weekend, Auburn held its Big Cat Weekend, which is one of the biggest recruiting events of the season, and Toodle made his commitment to the Tigers of the SEC. Now it is still early in the process for the 2026 class and he can decommit tomorrow for all we know, but considering he is from the state, this is likely a legitimate commitment that won’t waver.
