FOUR Scottish pubs have been named among the best in the UK at the 2023 National Pub & Bar Awards.
The annual event named 94 pubs and bars across the UK as the best in their respective regions.
The awards aim to highlight the "positive and inspiring work being carried out across the UK’s hospitality industry".
The Electric Bar in Motherwell won the award for South West Scotland, with Glasgow's Ubiquitous Chip the previous winner in 2022.
Edinburgh's Scran & Scallie was named the best in South East Scotland, and Tigh An Truish on the Isle of Seil near Oban was North West Scotland’s champion. Finally, The Criterion Bar in St Andrews was named the best in Scotland’s North East.
The Running Horses in Surrey was named the best of the year overall.
