Leeds United are set for an exodus this summer with a number of big name players vying for the exit door. German international Robin Koch is among those being linked with a move from Elland Road.
The 26-year-old has split opinion since arriving at Leeds from Freiburg back in 2020 for a reported fee of £13million. The Whites are expected to try to recoup some of that transfer fee this summer following their relegation from the Premier League.
Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Manchester United have been linked with a move for the centre-half and it's fair to assume an exit will happen this summer. With that in mind, Leeds Live has used Macro-Football to suggest four possible alternatives to replace Koch and they may surprise you.
Among the list of five players that are similar to the German, Leeds United defender Max Wober bares a 98.8 per cent similarity, which suggests they already have a ready made replacement. The Austrian was one of the better players after arriving in January, although injuries impacted his short tenure.

Przemyslaw Wisniewski of Spezia has a 99.2 per cent similarity to Robin Koch and is 24-years-old. However, the Polish youth international signed a four-year deal with the Serie B outfit back in January after moving from Venezia.
The centre-back was relegated from the Serie A in 2022-23, but played 14 games and scored once for his new side. Wisniewski has been called up to the Polish senior squad but is yet to make his competitive bow for his country and is only valued at €3million according to transfermarkt.
Staying in the Serie A, Udinese defender Jaka Bijol has a 99.1 per cent similarity to Koch and made 32 appearances in Italy's top flight last season. Valued at €10million according to transfermarkt, the Slovenian international is a pricey alternative to Koch, but has his best years ahead of him.
The 24-year-old, who can also play in midfield like Koch, scored three times and registered two assists for Udinese last season and has been a mainstay in their side after arriving at the club from CSKA Moscow.
The third alternative to Koch, is Cesar Montes of Espanyol. The Mexican international has a 99 per cent similarity to the German defender and was an ever present for the La Liga strugglers last season.
Montes made 20 appearances and scored three goals as Espanyol were relegated from La Liga and could be available for a cut price fee. The defender may ring a bell to some Leeds Unites supporters, after Montes was sent off for his country in their CONCACAF clash with the United States, handed a three match ban along with former Leeds loanee Weston McKennie.
The last alternative, is Hoffenheim defender John Brooks. The 30-year-old defender has spent the majority of his career in the Bundesliga and returned in January, signing a two-year deal with Die Kraichgauer after a disappointing spell in Portugal with Benfica.
The American has a 98.3 per cent similarity to Koch, but his recent transfer back to Germany would make a transfer unlikely.
