Four people rushed to hospital after horror dog attack at Scots home

Four people have been rushed to hospital following a horror dog attack at a Scots home.

Emergency services raced to Crown Street in Aberdeen after the alarm was raised at around 5.15pm on Tuesday September 6. Officers received a report of a dog having attacked people within a property on the road.

Ambulance crews attended and four people - aged 25, 27, 55 and 57 - were treated at the scene. They were then taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for further treatment.

The dog has now been handed over to the Scottish SPCA.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At around 5.15pm on Tuesday, September 6, we were called to a report of a dog having attacked people within a property in Crown Street, Aberdeen.

“Four people - aged 25, 27, 55 and 57 - were treated at the scene and taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The dog has been left in the care of the Scottish SPCA.

“A 57-year-old woman has been charged in connection and is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court at a later date."

The Scottish SPCA were contacted for comment.
