Four Glasgow residents have been rushed to hospital following a fire in the east end of the city.
The incident happened around lunchtime on Monday, July 17, with emergency services attending to the call on Bathgate Street.
The condition of those taken to hospital is not known at this time and a further three people have been checked out at the scene.
Residents were evacuated from the premises with police taping off the street, preventing public access as the smell of smoke lingered in the air.
In total 12 emergency vehicles attended the incident with four crews each from police, ambulance and fire.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 1.22pm on Monday, July 17 to reports of a building fire on Bathgate Street, Glasgow.
“Operations Control immediately mobilised four fire appliances to the scene and firefighters were met with a building well alight.
“Three male and one female casualty were handed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service and taken to Glasgow Infirmary for precautionary checks and a further three casualties were discharged on scene.
“Firefighters remain in attendance and are working hard to extinguish the fire”.
