Four people have been arrested in connection with an ongoing enquiry into allegations of non-recent abuse in Alexandria.
Police Scotland have confirmed this afternoon that three men and one woman were arrested and have now been released.
Officers have been in attendance at Davidson Road in Jamestown since Friday, January 21, with a mobile police station unit set up in the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers have arrested three men and one woman in connection with an ongoing enquiry into non-recent abuse in Alexandria. They have all been released pending further enquiries.”
