Choosing a name for your child is undoubtedly difficult. While it may seem like an impossible task to choose a fitting moniker for your little one, other parents may naturally find a fitting name that just sticks.
Although some people may not want to choose a name that reminds them of someone they know, one mum has revealed that she's chosen a first name that's already held by four other family members. Kat Peck - who boasts more than 1,400 followers on her TikTok account @katbpeck - admitted that she's 'obviously' using the name June.
Taking to the popular video-streaming platform, the mum-to-be shared a video explaining her decision, which has surpassed a whopping 720,000 views since posting.
In the clip, Kat said: "My mother's name is June and she was named after her mother June (aka my grandmother).
"Turns out my husband's mother's name was also June... And she was named after HER mother June (aka his grandmother).
"Now we're pregnant and having a girl... who will be born in June."
Seeking advice, Kat captioned her video: "We obviously have to name her June, but should we do first or middle name?"
Since posting, the mum-to-be's video has raked in over 480 comments from TikToker users who rushed to share their advice.
Taking to the comment section, people advised Kat to use June as the middle name as one person wrote: "Name her whatever you want and make her middle name June."
"June middle name," a second agreed.
A third wrote: "Middle name! Its my middle name and I was born in June too and named after my grandma."
Another suggested: "You should do middle name."
Meanwhile, a different gushed over the name: "I love the name June, it was my grandmother's name and I would name a little girl that :)."
Another TikToker said: "Mine and my husband's birthday is in June, we got married in June, and we found out we were pregnant in June. That is our daughter's middle name."
