Four injury boosts are set to welcome Leeds United back to Premier League action at the end of the month. The Whites concluded the first part of the campaign with a tight, but painful loss to Tottenham Hotspur, where there were several absentees in Jesse Marsch’s squad.
Based on the typically helpful injury updates Marsch gave the media before that trip to the capital, Leeds should see a quadruplet come back into the reckoning for Manchester City’s visit on December 28. Depending on who does and does not come through this mini-pre-season unscathed, Luis Sinisterra and Stuart Dallas might be the only remaining names on the sidelines.
Adam Forshaw has been pictured in training at Thorp Arch this week and was supposedly in a position to contend had the Spurs match been three days later. Marsch said: “Adam has been training hard, and if the Tottenham match was three days later, we would consider him eligible, but it at least means he should be ready when we get back after the World Cup.”

Jack Harrison travelled with to Tottenham, but was not named in the matchday squad. Marsch said: “Jack is a little bit questionable with a muscle strain, but we're hopeful in the next 24 hours, he can recover and be available for tomorrow.”
Given the winger travelled with the group and was considered such a close call, he is sure to be ready to face his former club after Christmas. Mateusz Klich is another who has been pictured in training this week.
“Klichy, he took a knee-to-knee knock in the match against Wolves, and he'll be out,” said Marsch. The Pole was left out of his country’s World Cup squad, but should now be fit to face the champions before the end of the year.
Patrick Bamford was not spotted in the club’s training gallery, but supposedly had a seven-day injury in the week before going down to Tottenham. Ahead of Spurs, Marsch said: “For Patrick, we have a chance he might be ready on the weekend. We hope he will be ready.”
Bamford would not emerge at the stadium, but based on the prognosis given after the Bournemouth win, the striker should be ready for City.
