Four people including two teenagers, 15 and 17, were killed in a horror car crash last night that threw 'several' people in the air, according to authorities.
A car travelling south on a highway collided with another travelling west at an intersection in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, US, just after midnight on Sunday.
The driver of the car carrying the four people who were killed is hospitalised in critical condition, while another passenger was also taken to a hospital but is stable.
Three of the victims who died appear to be between 15 and 17 years old, police said.
The driver of the second car, a 32-year-old woman, was taken into custody and charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
Pictures from the scene show the two cars on the street utterly wrecked.
It is reported that one or both drivers were driving dangerously at an “extremely high rate of speed”.
