The four freed Israeli hostages – Karina Ariev, Daniella Gilboa, Naama Levy, and Liri Albag – are all in a stable condition, according to the hospital where they are being treated.
“After an initial medical assessment, I am pleased to report that their medical condition is stable and we are here to provide them with the necessary care and emotional support,” said Dr. Lena Koren Feldman, the Director of Beilinson Hospital.
“The emotional reunion with their families was a moment hard to describe in words – tears of joy, hugs that melt hearts,” Dr. Feldman added.
Hamas on Saturday handed over the four female Israeli soldiers held captive in Gaza for 15 months, the second release of hostages under a ceasefire agreement between Israel and the militant group. Israeli authorities also released 200 Palestinian prisoners on Saturday – including two 15-year-old boys.
