Four people have been injured after a boat exploded in a harbour just minutes after it refuelled.
The horrifying incident was caught on camera and took place on Sunday 21 August, just after midday.
The four sailors at Halifax Harbor Marina, Daytona Beach, Florida, USA, were standing around the boat, called Jumper, shortly after they had refuelled.
Three of them were onboard the ship whilst the fourth stood on the nearby dock.
But just seconds later, at around 1:15pm local time, the boat suddenly exploded with parts of the back half consumed in a fireball.
Debris was sent flying through the air as at least one of the passengers was lifted off their feet by the sheer force of the blast.
Local firefighters rushed to the scene to tackle the blaze as the boat burned and sunk partly below the surface.
Four people suffered injuries and one passenger, reportedly a woman in her 50s, was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center.
She suffered burns to her right side including her leg, arm and shoulder, according to paramedics who provided first aid to the woman at the harbour.
The other three passengers were treated at the scene for their injuries but all declined to go to hospital.
The footage shows the boat moored as they all went about their business before suddenly the eruption tore through the back half of the boat.
Debris was sent flying into the air as the person on the dock fled out of sight.
The others can be seen moving frantically onboard as smoke billowed out the back of the boat.
An investigation into the boat explosion has been launched.
