Four In a Bed viewers suspect 'game playing' as £350 hotel disappoints

Four In a Bed viewers have raised suspicions about potential 'foul play' on the Channel 4 show, as audience members accuse contestants of purposely underpaying to win.

On Thursday night (February 9), the show travelled to Wales to visit Jane at her country manor, Plas Maenan Country House - and it certainly wasn't as successful night as fellow host Stephen's.

Patchy paintwork was a problem, and the excessive price of £350 a night had some people reeling from the cost of one room.

The décor of the rooms were also criticised, and some viewers even accused contestants of playing a game with their judgements. With the original price of the room being £350 a night, a normal guest is required to pay this.

However, on the programme, contestants are allowed to pay what they think their stay was "worth" in the grand scheme of things - giving rise to the idea that certain guests can purposely underpay.

Viewers flocked to social media to share their thoughts on the latest opinions, as the B'n'B hosts were called out for some alleged 'foul play'.

One Twitter user wrote: "I think a lot of game playing will be revealed tomorrow. #fourinabed."

Another said: "I suspect some serious underpayments tomorrow! #fourinabed."

A third wrote: "Ha ha I hope Steve’s underpayed equivalent prices to his place #fourinabed."

Meanwhile, a fourth added: "They seem surprised that people don't want to return - at £350 a night... #fourinabed."

More comments read: "Well I think we’re all in agreement. This place is definitely NOT worth £350 per night. 50 at a push #fourinabed."

Others said: "The decor is Jane all over. What, tired, tacky and worn out? #fourinabed."

One noted: "Dead flies for £350 nope #fourinabed."

Another added: "For that price, everything should be perfect. Not mismatched, dated furniture and marks on the walls #fourinabed."

And finally, one concluded: "No wonder folk go abroad , these prices are ridiculous #fourinabed."

Four In a Bed resumes on Friday, February 10 at 5pm on Channel 4. Catch-up episode are available on All4 now.
